๐ข About the Conference
The OWCC Womenโs Business Conference is a statewide gathering designed for women business owners. It brings together women business owners, resource providers, government agencies, and corporate leaders to empower, elevate, and support the advancement of women-owned businesses across Ohio..
The 2025 conference features a full day of breakout sessions, networking, targeted tracks (construction, political, youth empowerment), and the signature “Manifest & Map It” Vision Board session.
โ Why This Conference Matters
Women-owned businesses are one of the fastest-growing segments of the U.S. economy. According to recent research:
- There are more than 13 million women-owned businesses in the U.S. generating over $1.9 trillion in revenue annually.
- Women of color account for 50% of all women-owned businesses.
- Ohio ranks among the top states for growth in women-owned enterprises.
- Despite growth, women business owners still face gaps in access to capital, contracts, and connections.
The OWCC Womenโs Business Conference exists to close those gaps โ by providing knowledge, visibility, and opportunity for women entrepreneurs to grow and thrive.
