OWCC Certification Program
The OWCC Business Certification Program is designed to recognize and support women-owned businesses in Ohio. This certification validates businesses as women-led enterprises, enhancing credibility, visibility, and access to exclusive contracting and funding opportunities.
Certification Benefits:
- Official OWCC Certified Women-Owned Business designation
- Inclusion in the OWCC Certified Business Directory
- Access to corporate supplier diversity & procurement programs
- Exclusive networking & matchmaking opportunities with major corporations and government agencies
- Discounted participation in OWCC business expos & trade shows
- Advocacy support to help navigate state and federal certification programs
Certification Requirements:
To qualify, businesses must:
- Be at least 51% owned and operated by a woman
- Be a registered business entity in Ohio
- Demonstrate active business operations for at least one year
- Provide basic business documentation (e.g., business license, operating agreements, proof of ownership)
Application Process:
- Submit an online application through the OWCC website
- Provide required documentation for review
- Attend a certification workshop or interview (if applicable)
- Receive official certification upon approval
- Leverage certification benefits to grow and scale your business
